Designer Eyeglass Frames

Bringing modern eyewear to Oklahoma City since the early 90's, we have primarily focused our attention on smaller, independent European designers that emphasize quality materials and designs. Many of our frame manufacturers were unknown to Oklahoman until we introduced them to our state. We promise you will find something unique in all our brands, whether it is color, style, texture, shape or material.

Tavat

TAVAT was to combine simplicity with functionality. The design challenge was recalling with nostalgia, the past triumphs in eyewear that have withstood the test of time and incorporating them with today’s technological advances, for a modern and iconic look and feel.

In an era where it’s truly difficult to invent anything new in eyewear, TAVAT is launching the first 4 models: SoupCan - Round and Panto finished in metal, and also in a combination version with acetate eye-rims. Each style is made with great attention to detail by Italian Craftsmen, in Northern Italy.

Thierry Lasry

All the acetate frames are entirely hand-made in France with the best craftsmanship techniques and traditional know-how, the sunglasses only use acetate from the reputable Italian manufacturer Mazzucchelli. By working out the volume, the acetate front is made using a process more akin to sculpture than to regular cutting techniques. The acetates typically undergo a process of layering–meaning textures are created by combining sheets of different colors one against the other.
