Finding the optimal spectacle correction first involves doing a complete medical eye exam to determine the eyes refractive status and general overall health. Everyone wants to see well, but we also want to make sure there is no underlying reason why you may not see well. Early stages of many ocular diseases initially have no symptoms, so we want to make sure your underlying eye health is normal before we hand you your prescription.
We use the latest in automated pre-testing equipment, visual field testing, retinal photography anterior segment photography and high definition OCT imaging equipment to help us determine and rule out ocular disease. Dr Jay and Dr Carter can complete your comprehensive dilated medical exam, check with us to see if same day appointments are available.
